Citation, commencement and interpretation
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Education (National Curriculum) (Attainment Targets and Programmes of Study in Music) (Wales) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 31st August 1998.
(2) In this Order–
“the Document” means the Document published by Her Majesty’s Stationery Office in January 1995 entitled “Music in the National Curriculum (Wales)”(1); and
references to the first, second and third key stages are to the periods mentioned in paragraphs (a), (b) and (c) respectively of section 355(1) of the Education Act 1996.
(3) This Order applies only in relation to schools in Wales.
