The Building Societies Commission, with the consent of the Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by sections 42B(8)(b) and 102(1) and (2) of, and paragraph 5(1) and (2) of Schedule 17 to, the Building Societies Act 19861, and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations—C1
