PART III PROVISIONS COMING INTO FORCE ON 1ST FEBRUARY 1999

• Sections 110 and 111.

• Section 140(1) and (3) to the extent that those subsections relate to the provisions of Schedules 30 and 31 specified below.

• In Schedule 30–

  • paragraph 159;

  • paragraph 208(c) to the extent that it relates to the omission of section 13 of the Education Act 1997(1); and

  • paragraph 222(a) to the extent that it relates to the omission of paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Schedule inserted as Schedule 33B to the 1996 Act set out in Schedule 3 to the Education Act 1997(2).

• In Schedule 31, the repeal of–

  • section 13 of the Education Act 1997; and

  • paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Schedule inserted as Schedule 33B to the 1996 Act set out in Schedule 3 to the Education Act 1997.
