The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 11(3) of the Scottish Legal Services Ombudsman and Commissioner for Local Administration in Scotland Act 1997 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

1Citation

This Order may be cited as the Scottish Legal Services Ombudsman and Commissioner for Local Administration in Scotland Act 1997 (Commencement) Order 1998.

2Commencement

The Scottish Legal Services Ombudsman and Commissioner for Local Administration in Scotland Act 1997 shall, so far as not already in force, come into force on 1st April 1998.
