The magistrates' courts committees for the retained counties2 of Dyfed and Powys shall be abolished.

“retained county” is defined by section 72(1) of the Justices of the Peace Act 1997 (c. 25) in relation to Wales as a preserved county within the meaning given by section 64 of the Local Government (Wales) Act 1994 (c. 19).
