Nature and functions of the trust3

The trust is established for the purposes specified in section 5(1) of the Act.

The trust’s functions (which include functions which the Secretary of State considers appropriate in relation to the provision of services by the trust for one or more Health Authorities) shall be—

a

to own and manage pursuant to section 5(1)(a) of the Act Department of Psychiatry, Russells Hall Hospital, Busheyfields Road, Russells Hall, Dudley DY1 2LZ and associated hospitals, and there to provide and manage hospital accommodation and services;

b

to own and manage pursuant to section 5(1)(a) of the Act Ridge Hill, Brierley Hill Road, Stourbridge, West Midlands DY8 5ST and associated premises, and from there to provide and manage community health services; and

c

to provide and manage pursuant to section 5(1)(b) of the Act:—

Sedgley Health & Social Care Centre, Ladies Walk, Priory Lane, Sedgley,

Wychbury Medical Centre, 121 Oakfield Road, Wollescote, Stourbridge, West Midlands DY9 9DS,

iii

Steppingstones Medical Practice, Stafford Street, Dudley, West Midlands DY1 1RT,

iv

Feldon Lane Clinic, Feldon Lane, Halesowen, West Midlands B62 9DR,

v

Bayer Street site, Coseley, West Midlands WV14 9BS,

vi

Wrens Nest Estate site, Dudley, West Midlands,

vii

The Elms Health Centre, Slade Road, Cradley, Halesowen, West Midlands B63 2UR,

and from there to provide and manage community health services.
