These Regulations may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Vessels in Commercial Use for Sport or Pleasure) Regulations 1998 and shall come into force on 16th December 1998.

The Merchant Shipping (Vessels in Commercial Use for Sport or Pleasure) Regulations 19932 are hereby revoked: provided that such revocation shall not affect the amendments made by regulation 3 of those Regulations to the statutory instruments listed in Schedule 2 to those Regulations.
