The Building Societies Commission, with the consent of the Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by paragraphs 10A(3) and 10C(6) of Schedule 2 to the Building Societies Act 1986(1), hereby makes the following Regulations:

1986 c. 53; paragraphs 10A and 10C of Schedule 2 were inserted by section 36(4) of the Building Societies Act 1997 (c. 32).
