These Regulations amend the Education (Individual Pupils' Achievements) (Information) Regulations 1997.
Apart from minor drafting changes, they add new requirements as to information to be included in the head teacher’s report to parents. The requirements relate to information about the individual pupil at the school at key stage 2 (regulation 4) and about pupils at the school at key stage 3 (regulation 5). The Regulations also provide that references to the results of NC tasks at Key Stage 1 and the results of NC tests at Key Stages 2 and 3 are references to the results of such NC tasks or NC tests, as the case may be, as recorded pursuant to the Order providing for the assessment arrangements for the key stage in question (regulation 2).
