This Order revokes the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning) (No.2) Order 1998 (“the principal Order”) insofar as it remains in force. The principal Order prohibited–fishing for or taking scallops within the area designated in the Schedule to that Order (article 4);movement of such scallops out of that area (article 5); andlanding, using in the preparation or processing for supply of food, supplying and other specified activities in relation to such scallops from the designated area within the United Kingdom (article 6).
