2. Section 5(3), (4) and (5) of the Criminal Justice Act 1993(1) shall come into force on 1st June 1999.
Section 5(1) of the 1993 Act was repealed, and section 6(1) amended, by the Criminal Justice (Conspiracy and Terrorism) Act 1998 (c. 40), Schedule 1, paragraph 7. Section 5(2) comes into force on 1st June 1999 by virtue of the Criminal Justice Act 1993 (Commencement No. 10) Order 1999.
