Regulation 23

In regulation 2(1) (interpretation)3–

a

after the definition of “the Earnings Top-up Scheme”, insert–

  • “the Eileen Trust” means the charitable trust of that name established on 29th March 1993 out of funds provided by the Secretary of State for the benefit of persons eligible for payment in accordance with its provisions;

b

after the definition of “the Independent Living Funds”, insert–

  • “intensive activity period (New Deal) programme” means the programme known as the intensive activity period of the New Deal pilot for 25 plus as defined for the purposes of the Social Security (New Deal Pilot) Regulations 19984 in regulation 2(1) of those Regulations;
