This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of a defect in S.I. 1999/691 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 2(5) of the Public Records Act 1958(1) and with the concurrence of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Regulations–
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Public Record Office (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 1999 and shall come into force on 1st August 1999.
2. In the Schedule to the Public Record Office (Fees) Regulations 1999(2), paragraph 6.1(ix) (Additional finishes) shall be omitted.
