In Part I of Schedule 4 to the Act (enactments etc. protected from modification by the Parliament), in paragraph 4 (protection of the Act), in sub-paragraph (2), for “and 93” there is substituted “, 93 and 97”.

In Part I of Schedule 5 to the Act (general reservations), at the end of paragraph 6 (political parties) there is inserted “but this paragraph does not reserve making payments to any political party for the purpose of assisting members of the Parliament who are connected with the party to perform their Parliamentary duties”.
