NORTHERN IRELAND

These Rules prescribe the practice and procedure to be followed on appeals to the tribunal established under section 91 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 (“the Tribunal”). They include provision for–proceedings before the Tribunal to be heard in the absence of a party and his representative;the appointment of a special advocate to represent the interests of a party in such proceedings;evidence in proceedings before the Tribunal.
