This regulation applies where any function of the governing body of a school has been delegated to or is otherwise exercisable by a member of the governing body (including the chairman or vice-chairman), the head teacher, or a committee established by them.

Any member, head teacher or committee to whom a function of the governing body has been delegated or who has otherwise exercised a function of the governing body shall report to the governing body in respect of any action taken or decision made with respect to the exercise of that function at the meeting of the governing body immediately following the taking of the action or the making of the decision.
