Coming into force

Whereas the Secretary of State for Education and Employment has received a proposal from the Further Education Funding Council for England, made in accordance with section 51 of the Further and Higher Education Act 19921 (“the Act”), for the dissolution under section 27 of the Act of the further education corporation known as York Sixth Form College2 (“the Transferor”);

Now therefore in exercise of the power conferred on him by section 27 of the Act the Secretary of State after consulting the Transferor and with the consent of the further education corporation known as York College of Further and Higher Education3 (“the Transferee”) hereby makes the following Order:
