Establishment of Equality Commission

2.  The following provisions of the 1998 Act, so far as not already in force, shall come into force on 2nd August 1999:

• Section 73(1), except for the purposes of paragraph 6 of Schedule 4 to the Fair Employment and Treatment (Northern Ireland) Order 1998(1)

• Section 73(2) to (5)

• Schedule 8.
