9.—(1) Schedule 2 sets out the circumstances in which parent governors required by the instrument of government shall be appointed by the governing body, and the requirements which must be complied with in relation to any such appointment(1).
(2) Schedule 3 provides for the nomination and appointment of partnership governors required by the instrument of government.
(3) Schedule 4 imposes requirements which must be complied with in relation to the appointment of co-opted governors required by the instrument of government, other than additional co-opted governors.
Generally parent governors are elected. See paragraph 4 of Schedule 9 to the 1998 Act.
