In exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by section 9(5) of, and paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to, the School Inspections Act 19961 and section 122(1) of, and paragraph 10(2) of Schedule 26 to, the School Standards and Framework Act 19982, and after consultation with the Council on Tribunals in accordance with section 8 of the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 19923 the Secretary of State for Education and Employment, in respect of England, and the Secretary of State for Wales, in respect of Wales, hereby make the following Regulations:
