Information as to decisions11.
F1(1)
Where an application for consent to carry out a project is determined by the F2ONR, the F2ONR shall F3as soon as possible—
(a)
in writing, inform the licensee and the Secretary of State F4and the consultation bodies of the relevant information;
(b)
inform the public of the decision by publishing a notice F5containing the relevant information in a newspaper circulating in the locality of the site concerned, or by such other means as are reasonable in the circumstances; and
F6(c)
make the relevant information available free of charge for public inspection at all reasonable hours at an office of the ONR nearest to the place where the power station or reactor is situated.
F7(2)
The relevant information is—
(a)
the content of the decision and any conditions attached to it;
(b)
the main reasons and considerations on which the decision is based, including information about the public participation process;
(c)
a summary of the results of the consultations and information gathered pursuant to regulations 5, 8 to 10A and 12;
(d)
a description of how the information referred to in sub-paragraph (c) has been incorporated into the decision or otherwise addressed, in particular the results of any consultation under regulation 12;
(e)
a description, where necessary, of the main measures to avoid, reduce and, if possible, offset the major adverse effects of the project; and
(f)
information regarding the right to challenge the validity of the decision and the procedures for doing so.
