Citation and commencement1.
This Order may be cited as the Northern Birmingham Mental Health National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 1999 and shall come into force on 10th November 1999.

“Nature and functions of the trust3.
(1)
The trust is established for the purposes specified in section 5(1) of the Act.
(2)
The trust’s functions shall be to provide goods and the following services for the purposes of the health service, namely hospital services (including teaching and research facilities) and community health services, at or from the following hospitals, establishments or facilities—
(a)
71 Fentham Road, Erdington, Birmingham B23 6AL,
(b)
premises at Lodge Road, and premises off Lodge Road, Birmingham B18 5SD,
(c)
premises at Reservoir Road, Birmingham B23 6AX, and,
(d)
premises at the junction of Highcroft Road and Fentham Road, Birmingham B23 6AX,
and at any associated premises.”.

This Order amends the Northern Birmingham Mental Health National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1994 (“the Establishment Order”) which established the Northern Birmingham Mental Health National Health Service Trust, by substituting a new article 3 (functions of the trust).
