SCHEDULE 22 E+W+S TRANSITIONAL PROVISIONS IN RELATION TO RELEVANT BENEFITS

12.  Where, immediately before 29th November 1999, a payment of relevant benefit was suspended or withheld by virtue of any provision of Part V of the Social Security (Claims and Payments) Regulations 1987 M1 (suspension and extinguishment), the provisions of Chapter I of Part III of the Regulations (suspension and termination) shall apply with respect to that suspension or withholding as if it were a suspension imposed by virtue of those provisions.
