The Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages (Fees) Order 1999

The Chancellor of the Exchequer, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 5(1) and (2) of, and paragraphs 1 and 2 of Schedule 3 to, the Public Expenditure and Receipts Act 19681 and now vested in him2 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order—

Citation and commencement1

This Order may be cited as the Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages (Fees) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 1st April 2000.

In this Order a reference to a numbered column is to the column in the Schedule to this Order bearing that number.

Fees payable2

In each enactment specified in column (2) in relation to which there is an entry in column (5), for the sum specified in column (5) there is substituted the sum specified in relation to it in column (4); and the fee payable in England and Wales under each of the enactments specified in column (2) in respect of a matter or case specified in column (3) is that specified in relation to that matter or case in column (4).

Revocations3

The Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages (Fees) Order 19983 and the Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages (Fees) (Amendment) Order 19994 are hereby revoked.
