2. The date of 1st April 1999 is appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Government of Wales Act 1998–

Schedule 7 paragraphs 1(1) and (2), 8 and (in so far as it relates to an examination under section 6 of the National Audit Act 1983(1) (economy etc. examinations)) 9(2) and section 105(5) so far as relating thereto. (Forestry Commissioners—separate exercise of functions in relation to Wales).
