PREVENTION AND SUPPRESSION OF TERRORISM

This Order continues in force for a period of 12 months from 22nd March 1999 the provisions of–Parts I, III, IV and V and section 27(6)(c) of the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1989 (“the 1989 Act”), with exceptions; andsection 4 of the Criminal Justice (Terrorism and Conspiracy) Act 1998 (c. 40), which makes provision as to forfeiture in relation to offences concerning proscribed organisations. (Section 4(9) of the 1998 Act applies the provisions as to duration in section 27(5) of the 1989 Act to section 4 so far as it extends to England and Wales and Scotland.)
