Section 14A of the Highways Act 1980 to have effect as if certain roads were highways2.
(1)
Section 14A of the 1980 Act shall have effect in relation to a road to which paragraph (2) applies as if such a road were a highway.
(2)
This paragraph applies to a road in Greater London which—
(a)
is a road to which the public has access;
(b)
is not a highway; and
(c)
was constructed by an urban development corporation.
(3)
If a road to which paragraph (2) applies is designated as a GLA road pursuant to an order under subsection 14A(1) of the 1980 Act, that road shall, upon its becoming a GLA road in accordance with section 14A(2), become a highway maintainable at the public expense.
