4.—(1) The persons to whom section 1 of the Superannuation Act 1972(1) applies (persons to or in respect of whom benefits may be provided by schemes under that section) shall include persons who at the time of the coming into force of this Order:
(a)are serving or have served in employment with the Development Commission; or
(b)have served but have ceased serving in employment with a Rural Community Council; and,
in either case, are members of the Development Commission (Staff) Superannuation Scheme 1984 as amended on 28th May 1991.
(2) In Schedule 1 to the Superannuation Act 1972 (bodies in respect of which there are superannuation schemes) a reference to the Development Commission shall be inserted at the appropriate point in the alphabetical list of “Royal Commissions and other Commissions”.
