2. In rule 2(1) (Interpretation) of the Family Proceedings Courts (Constitution) Rules 1991(1) and rule 2 (Interpretation) of the Family Proceedings Courts (Constitution) (Metropolitan Areas) Rules 1991(2), for the definition of “stipendiary magistrate” there shall be substituted the following definition:—
““District Judge (Magistrates' Courts)” means a District Judge (Magistrates' Courts) appointed under section 10A(1) of the Justices of the Peace Act 1997(3) or a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates' Courts) appointed under section 10B(1) of that Act.”
