These Regulations may be cited as the Local Authorities (Functions and Responsibilities) (England) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 16th November 2000.

These Regulations apply in relation to local authorities in England.

In these Regulations—

• “the 1972 Act” means the Local Government Act 19722;

• “the 1998 Act” means the School Standards and Framework Act 19983F1; F3...

• “the 2004 Act” means the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004;

• “the 2006 Act” means the Health Act 2006F8; and

• “the 2007 Act” means the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007.
