1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Local Authorities (Functions and Responsibilities) (England) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 16th November 2000.
(2) These Regulations apply in relation to local authorities in England.
(3) In these Regulations—
“the 1972 Act” means the Local Government Act 1972(1);
“the 1998 Act” means the School Standards and Framework Act 1998(2) [F1; F2...
[F3“the 2000 Act” means the Local Government Act 2000];
“the 2004 Act” means the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004];
[F4“the 2005 Act” means the Gambling Act 2005 (c. 19)];
[F5“the Gambling Act Order” means the Gambling Act 2005 (Commencement No 6 and Transitional Provisions) Order 2006 (S.I. 2006/3272);]F6[F7...
“the 2006 Act” means the Health Act 2006] [F8; and
“the 2007 Act” means the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007].
