The Jobseeker’s Allowance (Joint Claims: Consequential Amendments) Regulations 2000

Whereas a draft of these Regulations was laid before Parliament in accordance with section 37(2) of the Jobseekers Act 19951 and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament;

Now, therefore, the Secretary of State for Education and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 6(4), 7(4), 35(1) and 36(2) of the Jobseekers Act 19952, by this instrument which contains only regulations consequential upon provisions of the Welfare Reform and Pensions Act 19993 and which is made before the end of the period of six months beginning with the coming into force of those provisions4, hereby makes the following Regulations:
