Prescribed NHS bodies and local authorities

3.—(1) The NHS bodies prescribed for the purposes of section 31 of the Act are—

(a) a Health Authority(1);

(b) a Primary Care Trust(2); and;

(c) an NHS trust(3).

(2) The local authorities prescribed for the purposes of section 31 of the Act are—

(a) a district council;

(b) a county council;

(c) a county borough council;

(d) a London borough council; and

(e) the Common Council of the City of London.
