The Community Legal Service (Scope) Regulations 2000

Coming into force
The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 6(7) of the Access to Justice Act 19991, and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, makes the following Regulations, a draft of which has been laid before and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament:
Citation and commencement1
These Regulations may be cited as the Community Legal Service (Scope) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 1st April 2000.
Interpretation2
In these Regulations, “the Act” means the Access to Justice Act 1999.
Community Legal Service: excluded services3
The following amendments shall be made to Schedule 2 to the Act:

The following shall be inserted at the end of paragraph 2(1):
h
the Immigration Appeal Tribunal or before an adjudicator,
b
In paragraph 2(2):
i
in sub-paragraph (b), the words “4 or” shall be deleted; and
ii
sub-paragraph (c) shall be deleted; and
c
In paragraph 2(3)(j), the words “section 8 or 11” shall be substituted for “section 1, 2, 8 or 11”.
