In section 73(1) of the Control of Pollution Act 197441 (interpretation), in the definition of “statutory undertakers”, for the words “the Post Office” are substituted the words “a universal service provider (within the meaning of the Postal Services Act 2000) in his capacity as a person who provides a universal postal service (within the meaning of that Act)”.
