The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 11(1) and (4) and (7), 12(12), 15(1), 86(1) and 94(1) of the Weights and Measures Act 1985(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:—

1985 c. 72; a relevant amending instrument is S.I. 1999/503; section 94(1) contains a definition of “prescribed”.
