The Relevant Authorities (General Principles) Order 2001

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 49(1) and 105 of the Local Government Act 20001, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and having carried out such consultation as is required by virtue of section 49(3) and (4) of that Act hereby makes the following Order, a draft of which has been laid before, and approved by a resolution of, each House of Parliament.
