Validity of acts done by unqualified persons

6.  In section 82 of the 1972 Act(1) (validity of acts done by unqualified persons), in subsection (1), after “the Local Government Act 1985”, there shall be inserted “or elected as elected mayor or executive leader”.

Section 82(1) was amended by Schedule 14 to the Local Government Act 1985, Schedule 6 to the Norfolk and Suffolk Broads Act 1988 (c. 4) and Schedule 13 to the Education Reform Act 1988.
