Coming into force
Whereas the Secretary of State has received a proposal from the Further Education Funding Council for England, made in accordance with section 51 of the Further and Higher Education Act 19921 (“the Act”) for the dissolution under section 27 of the Act of the further education corporations known as Thurrock College and Basildon College2 (“the corporations”).
Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 27 of the Act, the Secretary of State, after consulting each of the corporations and with the consent of the further education corporation known as Thurrock and Basildon College3, hereby makes the following Order:
