2. The following provisions of the 2001 Act shall come into force on 1st October 2001:
(a)sections 71 and 72 (arrestable offences);
(b)section 97 (regulations for police forces), except paragraph (a) of sub section (4);
(c)section 100 (orders and regulations); and
(d)paragraph 26 of Schedule 2 (amendment to Financial Services and Markets Act 2000)(1).
