This Order designates the district of Herefordshire, with the exception of the A40 trunk road from its junction with the district boundary with Monmouthshire to its junction with the A449 road at Overross roundabout, the A449 road from its junction with the A40 trunk road at Overross roundabout to its junction with the M50 motorway at Travellers Rest roundabout and the M50 motorway for its entire length in the district, as both a permitted parking area and a special parking area in accordance with Schedule 3 to the Road Traffic Act 1991. It also applies with modifications various provisions of Part II of that Act to the designated area and modifies the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 in relation to the designated area.
