[F1Determinations of entitlement to remain registered during the annual canvassE+W

31FA.[F2(1)] If a registration officer is required by section 10ZE(5)(b) of the 1983 Act to consider making a determination under section 10ZE(1) of that Act as a result of information received in response to the canvass conducted under section 9D of that Act, the registration officer must so far as reasonably practicable take any relevant steps under regulations 31D to [F331FZA] so as to enable the relevant determination to be made [F4, and the subject of the review to be notified of the determination,] before the registration officer publishes a revised version of the register under section 13(1)(a) of the 1983 Act.]

[F5(2) This regulation does not apply where under regulation 31C(2)(c)(iii) a registration officer has received information as a result of the annual canvass which allows the registration officer to determine that the elector has died.]
