Whereas a draft of this Order has been approved by resolution of each House of Parliament:
Now, therefore, Her Majesty, in pursuance of section 1B(1) and (3)(b) of the Ministerial and other Salaries Act 1975(1), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—

1975 c. 27. Section 1B was inserted by the Ministerial and other Salaries Act 1997 (c. 62). Amendments were made to the 1975 Act by the Ministerial and other Salaries Order 1996 (S.I. 1996/1913) and by the Ministerial and other Salaries Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/2037).
