Citation, commencement, interpretation and extent
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (General Dental Services) Amendment (No.6) Regulations 2001 and shall come into force on 14th December 2001.
(2) In these Regulations—
(a)“the principal Regulations” means the National Health Service (General Dental Services) Regulations 1992(1);
(b)except where the context otherwise requires, a reference to a numbered regulation or Schedule is to the regulation or Schedule bearing that number in the principal Regulations.
(3) These Regulations extend to England only.
(4) The principal Regulations are amended in accordance with the following provisions of these Regulations.
