4. Section 48(1) of the Act (matters for which rules of court may provide) will apply to authentic instruments and court settlements as if they were judgments or maintenance orders, as appropriate, to which the Regulation applies.

Section 48 was amended by paragraph 23 of Schedule 2 to the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act 1991 (c. 12) and paragraph 17 of Schedule 2 of the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Order 2001 (S.I. 2001/3929).
