5.  In the application, for any purpose of this Order, of the definition of “energy efficiency target” in section 33BC(2) of the 1986 Act or section 41A(2) of the 1989 Act, efficiency in the use by consumers of coal, liquid petroleum gas or oil shall also be regarded as energy efficiency(1).

By virtue of section 33BC(2) of the 1986 Act and section 41A(2) of the 1989 Act, efficiency in the use by consumers of electricity, and of gas conveyed through pipes, is energy efficiency for the purposes of energy efficiency targets within the meaning of those sections.
