1.  This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001 (Commencement No. 6) Order 2002.

2.  Section 130 of the Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001 shall come into force on:

(a) 22nd April 2002 for the purpose of remands and committals by a court in any of the police areas(1) listed in the Schedule to this Order; and

(b) 16th September 2002 for all other purposes.
