Amendment of the Housing Benefit (Decisions and Appeals) Regulations23
In regulation 1(2) of the Housing Benefit (Decisions and Appeals) Regulations (interpretation)—
a
in the definition of “financially qualified panel member”, after paragraph (c) there shall be inserted the following paragraph—
cc
the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland;
and
b
in the definition of “official error”, for paragraph (b) there shall be substituted the following paragraph—
b
an officer of—
i
the Department for Work and Pensions; or
ii
the Commissioners of Inland Revenue,
acting as such;
