9. In regulation 31(1)(1) (time within which an appeal is to be brought) for sub-paragraphs (a) and (b) there shall be substituted the following sub-paragraphs—
“(a)subject to regulation 9A(3), within one month of the date of notification of the decision against which the appeal is brought;
(b)where a written statement of the reasons for that decision is requested and provided within the period specified in sub-paragraph (a), within 14 days of the expiry of that period; or
(c)where a written statement of the reasons for that decision is requested but is not provided within the period specified in sub-paragraph (a), within 14 days of the date on which the statement is provided.”.
