3. For the definition of “designated authority” in regulation 1(2) of the Child Support (Maintenance Assessment Procedure) Regulations 1992 M1, there shall be substituted the following definition—E+W+S
““designated authority” means—
(a)the Secretary of State;
(b)a person providing services to the Secretary of State;
(c)a local authority;
(d)a person providing services to, or authorised to exercise any functions of, any such authority;”.
